Direct Marketing / Donor Relations Executive – Merchant’s Quay Ireland – Dublin

Job Title: Direct Marketing and Donor Relations Executive
Reports to: Donor Relations and Marketing Manager
Responsible for: Implementing and managing all Direct Marketing activities with the goal of acquiring, retaining and cultivating a broad donor support base. Working with the Donor Relations Team to deliver a consistently high standard of Donor Care

Main Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Donor Relations

Consistently deliver a high standard of donor care.
Create fundraising reports and other database reports as needed.
Continually update and correct database records.
Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters when needed.
Work with the donor relations team to ensure a timely response to all donor communications, telephone, email or letters.
Update website to insure all information is correct and timely.
Work with the Fundraising Team to support general administration and activities within the fundraising department

Direct Marketing

All activities related to donor acquisition, retention and cultivation
Create, plan and manage direct marketing campaigns including management of outside vendors and budgets.
Plan and deliver communications to existing donors (e.g. emails; newsletters) to ensure maximum retention of donors.
Create and manage a digital marketing plan and budget including email, website, mobile and online ads.
Coordinate marketing messages across all communication platforms.

Health and Safety

Provide administrative support on all matters related to Health & Safety in the organization
Observe all company and statutory Health & Safety regulations

General

Work closely with the other members of the Fundraising Team to ensure a seamless service to Donors
Keep records up to date on the Fundraising database and to provide any reports as required by the Head of Fundraising and/or the Executive team.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Person Specification

Applicants should demonstrate in their application how they meet the following essential criteria:

A track record of managing external vendors as well as experience of designing and producing printed fundraising materials for direct mail campaigns
Experience of managing donor relations
Evidence of  project management, time management and customer service skills
Knowledge of donor database and donation processing
Ability to work in an environment where performance is measured against specific targets
A third level qualification is desirable.
