Marketing and Communications Manager (Fulltime, Dublin – Maternity Cover)
An exciting maternity contract position has become available with the Coeliac Society of Ireland. Given increased awareness and growth in the gluten-free market this is an opportune time to join this dynamic team.
Overall Purpose
To roll out an integrated marketing communications strategy for Coeliac Society of Ireland
Brand development and management
To diversify products offered to individual members
To increase revenue via individual membership diversification, within pre agreed targets.
To sustain and enhance Coeliac Society of Ireland’s position as the primary authority on gluten-free living and advice.
Key Responsibilities
Media relations: building and maintaining relationships with key media; press release and photo-shoot development (regional media), ambassador identification, management of PR agency (national media)
To manage and grow the Society’s social media presence and coeliac.ie website
Working with the Business Development Manager on the roll out of the Annual Convention in April 2016 and Coeliac Awareness Week in May 2016
Undertaking research and identifying suitable case studies to inform press releases; advocacy work by the CEO and campaign development
Develop promotional collateral, within brand guidelines
Bi-annual newsletter: management of the production process from content plan through to newsletter distribution.
Monthly E-zine: managing the Marketing Administrator in producing the communication
Finance: budgetary management
To oversee the Marketing Administrators annual work plan and development (one employee)
To undertake any other duties reasonably requested by the CEO relating to Marketing and Communications
