Centre Project Manager – CURA – Dublin

(Blanchardstown, Suffolk St., and Tallaght)

CURA is a voluntary organisation providing a range of pregnancy counselling and support services in 14 Centres throughout Ireland. CURA is an agency of the Irish Episcopal Conference and operates with support from the HSE Sexual Health and Crisis Pregnancy Programme.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for post of Centre Project Manager in our Dublin centres (Blanchardstown, Suffolk St., and Tallaght).

Overall Role

The overall role of the Centre Project Manager is to support on-going work in the Dublin Centres through coordination of the day to day business and service provision in accordance with Cura ethos, policies and procedures. Specific tasks will also include:

Responsibility for the development of and the coordination of service delivery and development in response to the needs of clients
Ensure that Centres are operating in line with requirements of the Cura ethos and all PPPGs
Ensure all statistics are maintained and submitted to National office as required
Support the development and implementation of an advertising/networking campaign for Cura Dublin together with the National Office Communications Development Officer
Direct provision of Cura counselling services: face to face and telephone

The Centre Project Manager will work in collaboration with centre counsellors, Management Committee, Project Worker, Centre Secretary and Regional Coordinator.

Key skills and experience: The ideal candidate will:

Have counselling experience
Be a person who understands and accepts the CURA vision, mission, ethos, and values
Have a proven track-record in management and leadership
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Have effective organisational and administrative skills
Be able to work as a member of a team or on own initiative
Have experience of work in the voluntary sector, ideally in volunteer management
Have experience of local community networking
Be flexible and preferably computer-literate

Hours: (30 hours per week)

Monday 10 am to 5.30 pm                            Suffolk Street 7 hours

Tuesday 10 am to 6 pm                                  Tallaght  7.5 hours

Wednesday 10 am to 5.30 pm                    Suffolk Street   7 hours

Thursday 11 am to 8 pm                                Blanchardstown and Suffolk Street 8.5 hours

Work base: Cura centre, Suffolk Street, Dublin 2

Contract: This is a fixed term contract up to 30th April 2016
