Waterford One World Centre www.waterfordoneworldcentre.com  is looking for a Media Specialist to fill a 6-month fixed contract.

Job duties include: developing a journalist database, writing and disseminating press releases, arranging interviews and photo opportunities, and organising a press conference.  This work will be in support of a European Union project on Social and Solidarity Economy.

We are looking for someone with experience working with the media to deliver a specific message and build awareness of a specific issue. Essential criteria: strong English oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently and to deadline, also general office and IT skills are required.
