The main role of the Network Administrator (Senior Position) is to ensure that all IT systems: both hardware and software based, operate efficiently across the APAC and EMEA region. The job will also entail the completion of key IT projects that are in line with the organisations strategic objectives and growth plans. Day-to-day duties of the role: Windows 2008/2012 server administration including Active Directory. Exchange 2010/2013 server administration. Enterprise system support (i.e. ERP and CRM). Linux Redhat/CentOS server support. VMware 5.5 support and administration. SAN fabric support and configuration. Develop and maintain support documentation in accordance with BS&B standards. Managing administrative duties and ticket documentation effectively and in a proactive way. Key Accountabilities of the role Manage the server and application environment across the governed regions.
Education and experience: Bachelors degree in software engineering or technical discipline. VMWare certification a distinct advantage. Microsoft Certified Professional accreditations in Exchange, SQL and Server administration advantageous. Linux Professional desirable. 5 to 7 years experience in a mid to large company environment as a network administrator. Proven track record of problem solving ability.
