Healthy Ireland Smart Start Health Promotion Programme for Pre-school Services

Skilled and Experienced Trainers Required

The National Childhood Network (Formally BCCN, the Border Counties Childhood Network) exists to support the attainment of high quality standards in Early Years and After School services to facilitate the promotion of children’s health, well-being, learning and development. The work of the organisation is currently supported through funding from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs and the Department of Social Protection. Thanks to funding from the Department of Health, the National Childhood Network working on behalf of the HSE seeks to increase their panel of skilled and experienced trainers to deliver the Healthy Ireland Smart Start Health Promotion Programme for Pre-school Services. Successful Trainers must have a proven track record of delivering training through an adult participatory approach, be available to attend 4 days of training in Monaghan over two weekends 11th & 12th September 2015 and 25th & 26th September 2015 and be free to deliver this 21 hour programme of training on a weekly basis from October – early December.

Additional Information

Hourly rate of pay of  €35.00 (21hrs + 8hrs preparation time)
Mileage rate of 35cent per mile to and from training venue, payable after the first 10 miles
