Fundraising Project Manager – CMRF Crumlin

CMRF Crumlin raises vital funding for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and The National Children’s Research Centre. We have an exciting short-term opportunity to drive our Christmas campaign across all areas of fundraising.

Primary Purpose:
The Project Manager will play an important role in supporting the delivery of the Christmas campaign through a variety of activities across the fundraising team. Reporting to the Head of Individual giving, this role is a part of the fundraising and marketing team in CMRF Crumlin and is based at CMRF Drimnagh Road, Dublin 12.

Key Responsibilities
Project management of the Christmas campaign for the Individual Giving and Corporate audiences ensuring plans are delivered on time and within budget.
Managing timelines and delivery of Christmas DM, telemarketing and social media elements by suppliers and contractors.
Working with the data analyst and Head of Individual Giving, oversee the delivery of the Individual Giving Christmas appeal to the CMRF Crumlin warm audience.
Working with the Head of Corporate partnerships, set up and deliver the Corporate Christmas product to warm and cold corporate audiences.
Set up and oversight of donor care processes and data capture processes across the individual and corporate teams, writing internal briefs and supporting documents for supporting teams (finance and donor care).
Set up and delivery of the supporter thank you and impact campaign for delivery in January 2018.

Delivery of target
Set up and management of weekly progress and income reports to the Heads of Individual Giving and Corporate Partnerships, highlighting lags in process or income and planning for adjustments where necessary.
Refresh and deliver the Corporate Tiny Hearts product, to deliver 500K+ from the corporate audience.
Strategy and Planning

Set up and manage a full integrated project plan and schedule, and oversee the delivery of elements by external and internal stakeholders.
Set up and manage internal mechanisms for project team communication and action planning, and monitor and report progress against milestones.
Relationship management

Be the central point of communication between the CMRF Crumlin Individual Giving and Corporate teams and external suppliers for the overall delivery of the CMRF Christmas campaign.

General
Participate as part of the CMRF Crumlin fundraising team in all working groups, meetings and workshops as required
Undertake any relevant work delegated or assigned to you by the Director of Fundraising.

Essential Criteria
A strategic thinker with proven capability in leading a successful fundraising campaign on the scale of the CMRF Crumlin Christmas Campaign.
Highly developed project management and relationship building skills
Champion collaborative working and demonstrate and ability to drive performance
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with a track record of supplier management
Strong analytical, planning and budgeting skills with a focus on return on investment
Flexibility: Demonstrable experience of structuring workload and conflicting demands comfortably managing the multiple dimensions of the role.
Diligent, highly organised with close attention to detail.
Ability to leverage small budgets to generate engagement and awareness and sales
Data driven and target oriented
Hold a third level qualification in a relevant discipline
Working knowledge of the not for profit / charity sector
Ambitious with a high level of energy and an exceptional work ethic
