Mental Health Coordinator / Administration Support – 3Ts (Turn the Tide of Suicide) – Dublin

Overall Role: Coordination & Delivery of safeTALK Suicide Alertness Training General Administration Support

The 3Ts Charity was founded in 2003 to raise awareness of the issue of suicide, to lobby Government to adequately resource suicide prevention and to help prevent future deaths by suicide through research, intervention and support.  3Ts is governed by a board, supported by a committee of volunteers, chaired by businessman and solicitor, Noel Smyth.  There is a staff of two employees comprising the Charity Manager and the Mental Health Coordinator.

We are currently recruiting a Mental Health Coordinator, a diverse role, combining office based administrative duties with facilitation of training workshops. The mental health coordinator’s role is to provide support for the manager and committee members, providing a first point of contact for queries from supporters and the public, maintaining databases, data entry, and other general admin duties. The Mental Health Coordinator is also responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of safeTALK training workshops on behalf of 3Ts.  There is scope within this role for a successful applicant with initiative to further develop the role.

This post holder should be a trained facilitator in the delivery of safeTALK training (Suicide Alertness for All) with the ability to co-ordinate and deliver this activity.  This position is based at 3Ts offices in Sandyford, Dublin 18.
