Finance Manager – Tinteán – Carlow Voluntary Housing Association CLG

The Company is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager will report to the CEO and will be responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the Company and will also be responsible for audit and compliance matters.

A third level qualification in finance, business or associated subject.

A minimum of 3 years book keeping experience and the use of Cloud accountancy software.
Experience of financial management, in particular the preparation of financial statements and the drafting and management of annual budgets.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel.

Professional financial qualification
Knowledge of the Financial Standard and Assessment Framework for the Regulation of Approved Housing Bodies in Ireland.
Knowledge of the environment in which non-governmental organisations operate.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Diligent and thorough approach to work, with meticulous record keeping
Discreet approach and appreciation for confidentiality
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work calmly under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Demonstrable ability to work within a small dynamic team
Aptitude for developing and using IT systems.

This is a part time position of 24 hours per week. An initial one year fixed term contract with a six month probationary period will be offered to the successful applicant.
