Description

To ensure all guest queries are handled promptly and efficiently and to ensure an initial response is given within 2 hours of the enquiry.To organise and manage the sales department.To ensure all company profiles are updated and maintained.To plan and organise weekly sales calls to both new and existing clients.To plan and implement a sales and marketing plan.To compile weekly and monthly sales report for the department.To set targets for the sales teams in terms of sales calls and revenue.To strategically target all market segments for business.To allocate sales territories to the sales team to ensure existing business is maintained and new business is developed.To attend weekly yield meetings with all minutes actioned.To prepare reports for monthly group Sales & Marketing meeting.To manage websites for the hotel ensuring web pages, content, photos etc. are always up to date.To schedule and organise Wedding Fairs.

Skills Requirements

Bachelors degree in marketing essential.MBA is highly desirable.Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve.3-5 years previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing in a 4-5* property which is well recognised for excellence, innovation and high standards.Must have experience of the international market particularly UK and US markets. Objectives with a team approach.Must be motivated and motivating.
