We are experiencing growth across markets and would like to supplement our team with a Quantity Surveyor. Responsibilities: The role will involve: Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client; Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work; Assisting in establishing clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies; Performing risk, value management and cost control; Providing advice on contractual claims; Advising on procurement strategy; Preparing and analysing costing for tenders; Allocating work to subcontractors; Preparing cost plans for projects within budget limits; Prepare cost analysis based on drawings, engineering estimates, materials required and labour involved; Evaluating tenders from contractors and subcontractors and where appropriate negotiate with the contractors; Controlling all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure;

Skills Requirements

Relevant Qualification; Relevant experience; Membership of the Society of Chartered Surveyors desirable; Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors desirable; Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Strong numerical and I.T. skills; Strong decision making ability; Telecommunications experience desirable.
