The intern will gain practical experience in general office duties e.g. filing, photocopying, typing, dealing with queries. Using information technology e.g. word processing, speadsheets and email. Working in busy environments and dealing with service users. The intern will receive formal/informal training in the following; Hospital Electronic Systems – IPMS and NIMIS. On completion the intern will have attained skills in general clerical duties including working as part of a team in delivering services, dealing with the public / customers.
