Enterprise and Social Enterprise Manager – Dublin South City Partnership

THE ROLE
To provide leadership and management in planning, developing and implementing Dublin South City Partnership’s Enterprise and Social Enterprise programmes. The Enterprise/Social Enterprise Manager will work as part of the management team to ensure the successful delivery of SICAP and other DSCP programmes.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have:
Significant relevant experience in working with state and community based organisations who address enterprise and social enterprise issues.
Significant prior experience in at least one of the following: provision of one to one support to unemployed adults in terms of enterprise support; provision of individual and/or group based support and workshops; provision of advice and guidance to clients setting up their own business
A 3rd level qualification in enterprise development, entrepreneurship, business management or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in managing and supervising staff
A thorough understanding of the labour market, current activation measures, relevant government policies and employers’ requirements
An ability to prepare reports and funding proposals for a variety of agencies
Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Extensive knowledge of required reporting systems (e.g. IRIS)
