The Canal Local Employment Service (CLESN) is an integrated service to meet the needs of long term unemployed in accessing relevant employment, education or training. The service, which is currently being managed by Canal Communities Partnership (CCP), is based in Dublin south west.
CLESN is seeking to recruit an Administrator for this service. This is a full-time position for a period of twelve months to cover a career break. The successful applicant must be experienced in financial administration.
The purpose of the role is to administer the financial accounts and HR records of the CLESN Service and the supervision of the administration team.
Candidate should possess the following:
Knowledge and skills in preparation and maintenance of full and proper financial records and banking procedures
Experience of staff /team supervision.
Excellent numeracy skills
Ability to provide comprehensive administrative support to a team
Knowledge of and skills in maintaining records/files
Ability to prepare PAYE/PRSI returns
Familiarity with budgeting control
Ability to and experience of, working as a member of a team
Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own work to meet agreed objectives
General IT skills
The position will be based in the CLESN office at Goldenbridge Complex, Inchicore. Salary circa €xx p/a
