North Tipperary LEADER Partnership is seeking proposals from qualified Career Coach/Career Guidance personnel to deliver one to one support and guidance under the new Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) in designated areas of North Tipperary.
The proposals will form part of the interventions for people experiencing unemployment and will support them to overcome barriers and set in motion personal progression paths, with the ultimate aim of achieving employment outcomes.
Proposals should demonstrate the proposer’s ability, skill and experience in delivering such supports to this target group in a community development setting and should highlight their understanding of the target group needs.
Demonstration of an understanding of Community Development Work and prior experience of working in a similar role will be an advantage.
Practical Details:
Delivery of Career Coaching service for North Tipperary LEADER Partnership under Goal 3 of the SICAP programme.
Proposers should present the costs per hourly session to work with approximately 30 participants providing up to 3 sessions per person as need demands. Costing should be inclusive of all out of pocket expenses related to this work. Proposers will be required to prepare a Personal Action Plan with each client to support them in progressing their career. A summary report with recommendations will form part of this Personal Action Plan.
Proposers may also be requested to prepare and deliver some group training (3 hour session approximately) to jobseekers on a chosen subject useful to their job search.
Proposals will be assessed across a detailed range of criteria, prior experience of a similar position will be an advantage. (Scoring criteria will include quality of completed application, experience, cost and general suitability)
Tax Clearance, Insurance and NTLP Garda Clearance will be required.
