VACANCY

Job Title: Regional Clinical Education and Standards Facilitator

Ref. Number: RCESF/CO/AUG15

Type of Contract: Permanent

Number of Hours:39 hours per week

Location: Will require national travel, base location Eastern Ireland, preferably Dublin

The Role:

The purpose of this role is to lead the nursing and frontline care support teams in the Eastern region in the standardised and implementation of organisational clinical policy and procedures, ensuring full compliance with organisational policy, statutory and legislative requirements and standards. The role will be responsible for ensuring consistent clinical competence through the implementation of evidence based decision making and learning, and by fostering and promoting a culture of continuous professional development for all grades of nursing and frontline care support staff.

The Person:

In possession of a nursing qualification and registered in the general division with An Bord Altranais.
Currently operating at CNMII level.
Ideally has experience in an environment focussed on physical disabilities and neurological conditions in a management capacity.
Have experience in the delivery of training to staff at all levels.
Has strong communication skills both verbal and written and is able to effectively communicate with all grades of employees.
Proven background in evidence-based decision making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook is essential)
In possession of a full clean driving licence and willing to travel to other Cheshire services and work outside of normal working hours where required.
Ability to speak and write English fluently.

Salary range: Dependant on experience
