The MABS Administrator is the first point of contact for all those who seek help from the service, very often as a result of finding themselves in a distressing situation which they believe is unmanageable. Accordingly candidates must display the ability to empathise and assist people who find themselves in financial difficulty; familiarity with the provision of an advice, support and advocacy service; together with excellent communication, organisational, administrative and IT skills.The MABS Administrator will provide full reception, secretarial and administrative support to the Company. The duties of the Administrator will include records management, bookkeeping including payroll, data collection and database maintenance.

Skills Requirements

Good communication skills, both face to face and telephone, including ability to empathise with those experiencing financial difficulties. Ability to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a Board and team. Knowledge of and skills in maintaining records/files. Excellent IT skills including familiarity with uploading information to website. Excellent numeracy skills. Knowledge and skills in preparation and maintenance of full and proper financial records and banking.
