Bounce Back Upcycling Manager – Galway Traveller Movement – Galway

Key responsibilities:
The Manager will be responsible for working with the BBR manager to manage and coordinate the GTM Social Enterprises currently employing 16 staff. The manager will be responsible for ensuring that the social enterprise teams are supported to complete their work properly and efficiently, and that they have all the materials and equipment required to carry out each contract. Driving, loading and unloading of furniture and mattresses will be required at different times as part of a whole team approach to meeting our targets.

Criteria:
A good standard of education and training (both formal and informal)
Practical experience of running a small to medium size business
Furniture, carpentry /recycling, upcycling industry experience/or equivalent qualification in art/design/ desirable
Experience of mentoring /delivering similar projects

Relevant work experience and evidence of commitment to hard work and ability to self-direct.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects throughout the day(a full medical will be required)
