Conduct day to day administration and operational tasks under the direction of the Company Directors, to help various departments of the company (gift/craft/café/internet) coordinate to meet the end goal. This will involve administrative tasks, strategy planning, developing new contacts, understanding general business operations and guiding work for teams. This is predominantly office based role, with 1-2 day per week managing the shop floor. Key responsibilities include: – Updating company website, managing internet sales and queries. – Updating and maintaining all elements of our social media e.g. our blog, pinterest, facebook and twitter. – Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Access, photoshop etc., to design and produce company newsletters, in-store signage, correspondence, documents, spreadsheets and databases – Planning and marketing key promotional events – Store management activities e.g. opening/ closing, cash systems, deliveries et
Good oral and written communication and numerical skills. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent IT skills with experience using MS Office, Outlook, Photoshop and an ability to manage and update websites. Basic graphic design knowledge would also be desirable. Flexibility and good organisational skills. The role is quite diverse, with a variety of different activities to be done on a daily basis.
