Arthritis Ireland is looking for a solid all-rounder who has skills and experience in dealing with volunteers, organising events, creating and delivering training courses, fundraising and marketing.
As Community Support Officer, you will provide support and encouragement for our volunteers so that they can run their activities and events more professionally, fundraise more effectively and feel more supported and valued. The ideal person will have great skills in dealing with a diverse range of people in a variety of settings.
You must be able to hit the ground running and be capable of managing projects without supervision. We value flexibility, attention to detail, bright ideas and willingness to go the extra mile.
At least 3 year’s professional experience with excellent administration and IT skills
At least 2 year’s experience of delivering marketing and fundraising campaigns
At least 1 year’s experience of supporting and stewarding volunteers
A full driving licence is essential for this position.
Appointment will be on a fixed term basis for one year
