Creative Design Manager / Senior Multimedia Designer – The Soar Foundation – Hybrid

About the role
We are looking for a Creative Design Manager to join our growing dynamic team. The ideal candidate is an all-round accomplished designer with digital and traditional skillsets with a high level of conceptual thinking and a creative flair for storytelling.
Delivering on specific marketing and communications goals to increase Soar’s brand awareness and attracting new funding that will enable Soar to achieve our Mission of reaching every Transition Year student in Ireland with a preventative, character-building program.

Specific Projects/Responsibilities
Grow the Soar brand with key stakeholders in line with our marketing and communications objectives.
Coordinate the updating of Soars website to reflect our renewed brand essence and identity, along with incorporating new functions to tell our story more impactfully and allow for an enhanced user experience with stakeholders such as teenagers and teachers.
Build ‘Soar Media’ – Soar wishes to create a platform where authentic teenage reality flows through the organisation and into the outside world. We require expertise to build the mechanisms and collate the content to deliver appropriately through the correct channels to various stakeholders.
Coordinate Soars 10-year anniversary – The event will be a celebration of the positive impact we have had on approx. 53,000 Teenagers to date, and an opportunity to communicate Soar’s updated and ambitious organisational mission.
Work closely with the CEO to create exceptional pitch/engagement assets for engaging with high-net-worth donors, corporate partners, foundations etc. all with the intention of generating significant funds to deliver Soar’s Mission.

Essential Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field (5+ years of experience).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suit (Photoshop, In-Design, and Illustrator) and Microsoft office is required. Knowledge in UX, HTML/CSS and/or WordPress is a bonus, but not essential.

Flexible approach to work.
The ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, managing own workload and meeting deliveries.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – comfortable in liaising with multiple stakeholders on any given project.
Experience in working across various creative disciplines including branding, advertising, art direction and graphic design for print and online output.
