East Regional Manager – Le Chéile Mentoring & Youth Justice Support Services – Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin

Role Description

The Regional Manager ensures that services are being delivered to the highest possible standard in their region, consistent with Le Chéile strategy, policy and procedures; that staff are supported and supervised effectively; that KPI’s are being met on a consistent basis; that the organisation is positively promoted both internally to staff and volunteers and externally to stakeholders. The Regional Manager will play a key role in the overall management and strategic development of Le Chéile.

Background to Le Chéile

Le Chéile Mentoring and Youth Justice Support Services is a community-based volunteer mentoring and family support service, which works with young people involved in or at risk of offending. Le Chéile was established in 2005 to fulfil the requirements for mentoring under the Children Act 2001.  We work to make positive changes in the lives of young people who offend and their families, through the provision of Mentoring, Family Support and Restorative Justice Services. We provide tailored flexible services, with young people at the core. We work in partnership with the Probation Services and other agencies to reduce the level of crime in the community. Location: 24 Tivoli Terrace South, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.

The Regional Manager post involves travel for which travel and subsistence expenses are payable.

Responsible to: The CEO

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Annual Leave:   26 days per annum (increasing  by one day per year to a max of 30)
