Enterprise Development Supports – Northside Partnership

Northside Partnership seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals or companies (hereafter the Consultant) to assist in the delivery and co-delivery of enterprise development supports under the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP). To ensure quality service delivery, three distinct interventions have been identified.

Introduction to Self-Employment Workshop
Start Your Own Business Training Course
Enterprise Network for Self Employed

Each intervention sets out to address specific needs and are designed to support those considering starting their own business. Supports are provided from the pre-start-up phase through to business development for enterprises established with the assistance of the Partnership. Some interventions will be delivered by Partnership Enterprise Officers, others will be provided by The Consultant and a number of activities will depend on inputs from both. It is vital that the interventions are planned and delivered in close collaboration. While there is a natural progression through the suite of enterprise supports available, individuals and organisations can access any component of the suite as their needs and the needs of their business change.

The Target for 2017 will be:
to engage with 500 clients seeking enterprise/self-employment supports
to support 177 clients in establishing their own enterprise

For more information see section 3.0 Enterprise Development Interventions in the Request for Tender document.
