Bloomfield Health Services (BHS) is a not-for-profit healthcare provider based at Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham, operating two main services, Bloomfield Hospital and Newlodge Nursing Home. Newlodge, a 36-bed facility, provides residential nursing care for older people. Bloomfield is a 114-bed state-of-the-art hospital specialising in the treatment and care of those who suffer from severe and enduring mental health issues and severe neuropsychological and neurodegenerative conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Huntington’s Disease.
THE ROLE:
We are now seeking a dynamic Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop the organisation’s fundraising income by building a sustainable base of loyal donors and introducing a diverse range of fundraising activities.
Reporting directly to the Board and CEO, the successful candidate will also be responsible for increasing public knowledge and engagement through the creation of a communications plan.
This is a new position within the organisation and the successful candidate will need to be driven and energetic, with a proven track record in corporate or high-level donor engagement. You should also possess a clear understanding of hospital or medical foundation fundraising and an empathy around mental health issues.
