Manager (Homeless Service) – Anew – Dublin

Anew is a non-denominational, non-advocacy organisation registered for charitable purposes. We provide help and support for homelessness and provide pregnancy, post pregnancy and post abortion support and counselling. In line with our ambitious expansion plans and rebranding we are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to not alone expand our homeless service. As part of your role, you will be expected to manage a team, network at Government level, develop new projects/initiatives and have strong business acumen. You will be required to present proposals/presentations and open doors at a senior level in order to secure further streams of funding.

The successful candidate will be a driver who has already delivered ground breaking results in this area. Your output will be measured through KPIs and performance management systems. Experience and Knowledge
Essential

Strong business acumen with an understanding of the therapeutic environment & homeless sector
Educated to level 8 or higher on the National Framework
Previous experience  of managing  teams and understanding how teams work
Highly skilled in the area of networking
Proven ability to secure funds and write business proposals
Strong presentation skills
Demonstration of leadership capability

Manager (Homeless Service)

Location: Dublin 2 (May involve some travel)

Salary: DOE

Summary of the role: Reporting to Head Office, the successful candidate will be part of the senior management team at Anew.
Primary Responsibilities
Organisational

Management and development of homeless service in line with strategic  plan
Managing  teams of front line personnel
Ensuring policies/procedures for homeless service are developed and implemented
Responsible for securing funding streams relevant to the homeless service
Representing the organisation at senior & Government level
Completion of quarterly/ monthly returns to funders
Set KPIs for team and ensure that these are being met
Attend as required operational management meetings

Management of Staff

Ensure staff, volunteers and interns are qualified, supervised and garda vetted
Conduct performance reviews for team

Funding and Resources

Develop strong working relationships with funders
Act as the main point of contact for funders
Secure further streams of funding through the development of projects/initiatives
Continue to build relationships within the community through one-on-one networking, group meetings, and public outreach to help form partnerships

Clinical

Participate in case management meetings and contribute to the leadership of the accommodation service
Implement policies and procedures in line with accreditation standards
Implement performance and quality improvement processes in compliance with funders
