National Fundraising Manager – Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland

Background Information:
Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI) is a national charity providing highly trained assistance dogs for children with autism and their families. Their dogs are specially trained to provide safety, independence and companionship to children who would otherwise live in a very isolated world. These dogs help to transform the lives of children and their families.

AADI are currently seeking a National Fundraising Manager to join their small, dedicated team in Cork.

The Role:
The National Fundraising Manager will have sole responsibility for building up the fundraising function at AADI. The successful candidate will devise and implement a fundraising plan which focuses on developing a dynamic approach to community fundraising, donor care and development, state support, and corporate engagement.

Other key responsibilities will include, building and managing volunteer support groups around Ireland, recruiting and training new fundraising volunteers, and overseeing the day to day communications of the organisation.

This role requires an individual with a strategic mind-set, a passion for relationship management and experience working to targets. This is a stand-alone role with potential to grow and the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to shape and make the role their own.

If you are a creative, confident self-starter with excellent sales and presentations skills, this could be the role for you!
