Worldwise global schools seeks a Programme Support Officer
WWGS is recruiting for a Programme Support Officer (PSO) to work with the established staff team during the final year of the programme. The PSO will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support – including database management, grant administration, project auditing and reporting – to enable the overall smooth running of the WWGS programme. The PSO will have specific responsibility for and oversight of the Global Passport Award Scheme, which was launched last year as a mechanism to recognise and validate development education work taking place in post-primary schools across Ireland. The PSO will monitor progress of the WWGS programme towards meeting its overall strategic aim and objectives, and contribute to twice annual reports to Irish Aid. The capturing and sharing of data to track the level of DE engagement at post-primary level is of central importance for this role.
