Candidates must be able:
To work with the residential Manager to create and maintain a supportive and welcoming environment for the young people in the care of Novas.
To work under the guidance and direction of the Manager to ensure that the highest possible standards of support and care are maintained at all times within the unit.
To ensure that all information relating to the young people, professional and staff colleagues, is treated in a thoroughly professional manner and that confidentiality is strictly maintained at all times.
To ensure that records are kept up to date.
To participate in staff training, and any system of staff appraisal that may be introduced.
To work designated shifts according to the roster, including overnights, weekends and public holidays as required.
To work at all times in accordance with the policies of Novas.
To undertake any other duties, this may be required from time to time by the Manager.
