Volunteer Coordinator – Ana Liffey Drug Project – Dublin

The Ana Liffey Drug Project is recruiting for a Volunteer Coordinator.

The Ana Liffey Drug Project is a “Low Threshold – Harm Reduction” service. Our mission is to work with people affected by problem substance use and the organisations that assist them. We do this to reduce harm to individuals and society, and to provide opportunities for development of those individuals and organisations.

We now seek to recruit for the following post:

Part-time Contract for an indefinite period

POST: Volunteer Coordinator

HOURS: 17.5 hours a week

SALARY: €17,677 per annum

HOLIDAY: 12.5 days per annum

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Services

RESPONSIBLE FOR: The management of the Poole Volunteer Programme

Under the guidance of the Head of Services the Volunteer Coordinator’s main focus of responsibility is the management of the Ana Liffey’s Poole Volunteer Programme. This will be carried out with the support of Ana Liffey Team Leaders and other staff members.

The Poole Volunteer Programme is initiative of the Ana Liffey’s named in honour of our former chairperson and long-time volunteer and Council of Management member David Poole (RIP).

Poole Volunteers includes placement students, volunteers, unpaid interns and Jobsbridge interns.

The Poole Volunteer Programme involves recruitment, support and development of Poole Volunteers and review of placements.
