Youth Organisation to deliver a Rural Based Youth Service – Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board

Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) is seeking a youth organisation to deliver a Rural Based Youth Service to young people in West Cavan, particularly focusing on the Towns of Belturbet, Ballyconnell and Swanlinbar. This service will be funded under the Value for Money (VFM) and Performance Review Scheme from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. The VFM scheme will be offered in three areas within West Cavan, namely Belturbet, Ballyconnell and Swanlinbar.

The organisation we seek should:
Exemplify good practice in relation to vision, methodologies, governance, compliance, programme design and delivery
Be experienced in working with teenagers and young adults, using an non-formal educational methodology
Operate in an out-of-school setting, including evenings and weekends
Understand the nature and needs of a rural, dispersed youth population and offer appropriate responses
Able to devise and measure effective responses
Be committed to on-going sharing of learning and collaboration
