The UCD School of Computer Science & Informatics is Ireland s leading computer science school in terms of teaching and research. It offers teaching programmes at BSc and Masters level that attract top students from Ireland and overseas. It is home to the UCD Centre for Cybersecurity & Cybercrime Investigation, Europe s leading centre for research and education in cybersecurity, cybercrime and digital forensics. The school is committed to excellence in teaching and research and to supporting the Information & Communications Technology sector that is such an important part of the Irish economy. In order to address ongoing teaching commitments in the general area of Cybercrime Investigation the school is recruiting a lecturer in this area. This lecturer will be expected to teach on the Masters programmes in this area and also coordinate the teaching of external experts who contribute to the teaching in the school. She/he will also be expected to contribute to research activity.
