Administrative Assistant – Praxis Care

Everything we do here at Praxis Care centres around making a difference to the lives of people living with learning disabilities, mental ill health, acquired brain injury or dementia and to do this, we have a team of exceptional care and support workers. We are the largest care providing charity in Northern Ireland and also have large operations across Republic of Ireland, England and Isle of Man employing over 1400 staff.

We currently have the following vacancy within the Intellectual Disability Services:

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

FULL TIME – 37.5 HRS PER WEEK
LEARINING DISABILITY SERVICES
ARDEE
Salary: €24,276 – €26,452 per annum, pro rata.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to build upon your experience within a rapid growing organisation on a permanent contract. You will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to the Assistant Director, whilst ensuring the efficient running of the office. If you have excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills then we want to hear from you.

To be considered for this role you must meet the essential criteria listed below:

Pass in Higher or Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate Exam (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point (to be tested at interview)
A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in an office environment
