Administrative Assistant to Executive Director – Samaritans Ireland – Dublin

Samaritans Vision is that ‘Fewer People will Die by Suicide’. We work to achieve this by making it our mission to alleviate emotional distress and reduce the incidence of suicidal feelings and suicidal behaviour. We do this by being available around the clock, working in partnership with other organisations, agencies and experts, influencing public policy and raising awareness of the challenges of reducing suicide.

Samaritans Ireland is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director for Ireland.  This is a very exciting time to join our organisation as we have just launched our new 2015 – 2021 Strategy ‘Working Together to Reduce Suicide’.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a track record in the provision of administrative and secretarial support at a senior level.  You should have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, an ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and volunteers at all levels.  Be able to manage time effectively and be able to work on own initiative.

The position is a full time permanent post and is based in our Dublin Office.  Salary 30k.
