Healthcare Assistant, Nursing Department

Based in Clontarf, Dublin 3

Permanent Contract

Part time, 0.5 WTE – 26 hours per week; School day/school year

The Healthcare Assistant in the Nursing Department will be reponsible for working as part of a team to provide for the care needs of children attending the CRC School in adherance with CRC policies and guidelines.

The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements;

At least two years experience of working with children and young adults with physical and multiple disabilities.  This will include management of all aspects of personal care.
A healthcare, social care or other relevant qualification at FETAC Level 5
Flexibility and teamwork skills which are key to this role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in spoken and written English
Proficiency in IT skills.
