, Delta Centre are recruiting a Person in Charge to provide holistic, person centred care within a residential situation, promoting optimum independence, enhancing the quality of life for service users with intellectual, physical or sensory disability in all aspects of daily living.

Qualifications, Experience Required:
QQI Level 8 (Honours) Degree in Social Care or equivalent
Recognised management course OR currently enrolled in one (desirable)
A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the area of intellectual disability
A minimum of 3 years management/leadership experience within a healthcare setting
Full clean drivers’ licence

Skills, Competencies and/or Knowledge Required:
Candidates must:
Have excellent knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act 2007
Excellent communication skills
Have the ability to listen and respond to the needs of people who use services
Have the ability to be innovative & creative and work on one’s own initiative
Excellent knowledge of health and safety standards.
