Special Olympics Ireland is looking for a Regional Development Officer for Volunteers to join our Munster Team in Cork. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to changing lives of people with an intellectual disability through sport and drive a quality year-round sports programme that is embedded in local communities. We are looking for a motivated individual who is ready to jump into an opportunity and help build upon our success.

Here’s where you come in.
You’ll join a cross-functional Regional Team that delivers competition events, sports development, club support and programmes such Athlete Leadership and Health and Wellbeing. Your role will be to develop and support the volunteers in Munster and ensure there are effective volunteer structures that will support the Regional Programme.

Skills & Experience
Excellent people skills
Strong ability to plan and manage workload
Relevant third-level qualification
One year’s experience in a similar role
Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
