Applications are invited for this part-time (0.8 FTE) 5 year appointment within the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences tenable from 1st September 2015 (or as soon as possible thereafter).The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences currently offers the undergraduate Pharmacy degree, postgraduate degrees by research and a number of taught postgraduate courses. This new position has been introduced to support the introduction of the 5-year integrated Pharmacy programme in the academic year 2015/16. It is designed to strengthen the Schools existing teaching and research in the pharmacy practice area.Note: The appointee is required to complement this 0.8 FTE position by securing and undertaking employment as a pharmacist in a patient-facing role for a further 0.2 FTE.

Skills Requirements

Qualifications:The appointee:Must be registered or eligible to register as a pharmacist with the PSI (essential).Should hold or be undertaking a suitable postgraduate qualification relevant to this position.Must have considerable patient care/clinical experience in the community and/or hospital pharmacy setting.Knowledge & Experience:Research Essential.Proven record in research and ability to contribute to the Schools research.
