BACKGROUND:
Pieta first opened its doors in 2006 and since then it has helped over 58,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm. Through the work of Pieta, Ireland is slowly developing a world-class national suicide service.
Pieta now operates fifteen centres and five outreach service across Ireland and employs over 200 therapists and administration staff, and the demand for its service is increasing.
Pieta treats people based on their need and not on their ability to pay – this has always been a hallmark of its service and this ethos will not change.
Pieta is now recruiting an ambitious Individual Giving Manager to join its driven fundraising team.
THE ROLE:
The Individual Giving Manager will play an integral role within the organisation which is at the early stages of developing its individual giving programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Establishing the individual giving programme from cash donations to regular giving
Managing the individual giving budget ensuring clear reporting and ROI monitoring
Developing and managing a system for individual giving with pieta’s salesforce database
Managing the Donor Care Officer to establish clear donor care practices

To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience managing individual giving in a non-profit organisation with decision making and budget responsibility. You will have previous experience running large-scale campaigns and will take pleasure in analysing data in order to make strategic plans.
