Description

Our client is a well known manufacturer operating since the late 90s. This company is seeking a Financial Accountant for a 12 – 14 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave to commence April 2015 with a view to extension. Reporting to the Managing Director the responsibilities will include ensuring key activities are correctly recorded in general ledger Reconciliation of nominal ledger accounts on a monthly basis Preparation of management accounts and audit file Credit control and financial management Cash flow reporting, projections and analysis Delivery of key reports on a weekly and monthly basis Statutory returns for ROI and UK jurisdiction Maintain system controls and appropriate financial controls Other duties as required

Skills Requirements

Candidates will hold a qualification from a recognised accountancy body and will have ideally 3 years+ PQE in a commercial environment. Familiarity with SAGE Accounting systems and good knowledge of Excel and other office systems is a requirement.
