Description

The successful candidate will be able to design and deliver language courses in Korean and Chinese suitable for a variety of levels in both the primary and secondary school sectors.They will also be able to deliver group and one to one courses to adults in an academic and business context with a view to preparing them to study or do business in Korea or China and appreciate the cultural aspects of the language.All courses will include modules in culture and etiquette that will give course participants a contextual appreciation of the language and enable the following learning outcomes:Achieve the necessary fluency appropriate to each level.Develop reading, writing and speaking skills appropriate to each level.Be able to apply language skills to contextual cultural norms. Advise course participants on exam skills required for the YCT & HSK exam.Employment will take place in the Native Speaker Language School, Sligo and in some cases to clients off-site.

Skills Requirements

The successful candidate will: Have a minimum 10 years experience teaching both juniors and adults. Have experience of the Irish secondary and primary school system. Have experience of using their language skills in a business setting. Be capable of giving courses on business etiquette in Korea and China. Have a native speaker fluency level in both languages. Clearly demonstrate evidence of this in their application.
