Description

The Park Academy Childcare, based at Cabinteely, Dublin 18 requires a Transport Manager. This role involves driving our brand new Park Academy Bus , a custom made 14 seater bus, picking children up for local school runs in the D18 area and also transporting pre-school children in between our Crèches ( all located in South Dublin / North Wicklow) for activities. You must have the following: A clean D1 licence. The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport Certificate of Professional Competency in Road Passenger Transport, or other equivalent. Drivers Card. (CPC). Please do not apply if you do not have a D1 licence. Main Responsibilities: Leadership and development of the Transport team members to provide a cost efficient, and customer focused service. Ensure that transport operations meet legal and customer compliance requirements. Build the capability of the transport team to lead and drive continuous improvement in line with strategic goals and objectives of the business.

Skills Requirements

The applicant must have a very good command of English in order to be able to communicate with the children and must be a patient, outgoing and talkative person. Working days are Monday to Friday between the hours of 07.30am – 5.00pm. A minimum of two reference checks plus Garda vetting are essential as part of the recruitment process.
