Description

This is a key role at an exciting time within Freshways. The main objective is to grow and develop the sales of Freshways products to Symbol Groups, Independent Retailers, Sandwich Bars and Coffee Shops throughout Ireland. Keys areas of responsibilityare: Canvass new customers and realise new business opportunities; Develop business with existing customer base; liaising with the van sales operation team; Introduce new products to selected customers and conduct periodic market research studies the candidate must also participate in the internal new product development programme. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role; Educated at least to Leaving Certificate standard; In the absence of sufficient relevant experience, a 3rd level qualification in a business or food-related discipline is important, also experience in the food industry with a strong commercial awareness and knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Full driving license essential.
