Our Client a well established recycling/waste management company, who specialise in mixed dry recycling and fuel production. The company has significant presence and contracts in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England and Scotland. Due to expansion into new waste streams and markets and having secured contracts the company are currently seeking to recruit a contracts Manager.

Skills Requirements

Role: To work as part of a small contract management team to assist and develop our portfolio of contracts for various stakeholders and governing bodies from our Newry offices. In addition to being involved in the day to day duties include the collation, validation and formal reporting. Duties: Reporting to the Management Team; Liaise with consultants and client managers to resolve any contract issues which may arise; Support various departments on contract, bidding, extensions and terminations etc; Recording / reporting of contract compliance, annual price reviews, tender submissions, contract award/decline and debrief information realting to tender; Ensure contractual obligations are being met, with quick resolution; Provide excellent customer service and develop strong customers relationships; Detailing of minutes, estimates and claims, as may be required; Skills: Have a hands on approache to all tasks; Ambitious and driven to succeed; Problem solver; Experience in contributing to contract negotiations & reporting for large scale contracts; Excellent organisational / administration & communication skills (both written & verbal) Skilled in data mining & analysis; Experience of analysing, interpreting, manipulation and reporting of contract performance data; Evidence of working on own initiative and responding to unexpected problems; Knowledge of EU Procurement or contract law would be benefical; Coroporate sales /purchasing experience in waste/engineering business, would be benificial. Own car essential; Occasional travel required. This is a full time permanent job opportunity offering competitive salary, benefits and bonus depending on company and individual performance.
