Depaul’s services can be split into 4 main areas homelessness and addiction, homelessness and vulnerable families, homelessness and prevention and homelessness and criminal justice. National Development Manager – Nightstop

Full time position.  Salary – €50,174

The Nightstop Service is an innovative concept that has been developed over the last 29 years in the U.K.  Depaul now plan to introduce the approach in the Republic of Ireland. Nightstop provides safe emergency accommodation for young people who have become homeless and are in immediate need of somewhere to stay. The accommodation is provided in the homes of trained volunteer hosts with the aim of achieving a longer term housing option as part of the intervention. The National Development Manager will play a core role in the systematic development and operational roll out of the concept and network.

The successful candidate will need to have a full driver’s licence and be available to work away from home for a portion of the week.  They will need at least 3 years’ experience working within services where social exclusion, marginalisation and homelessness has been a feature.  They should also have demonstrable experience of risk management and overseeing safeguarding practices within these settings.
