The ideal candidate for this post will have:

Relevant qualification in the area of addiction / social care and at least one-year full time or equivalent experience of working within aftercare, residential or other related services
Have an understanding of the issues relating to alcohol and drug use/homelessness and mental health.
Good Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and practice regarding homelessness and/or drug use.
Possess strong interpersonal skills.
Experience of Key working and care planning desirable.
Experience of working with clients with multiple needs.
Awareness of boundary issues particular to Aftercare and residential settings.
An attitude and approach consistent with MQI core ethos and values.
Full clean Drivers licence desirable not essential.

Salary: €14,250 pa
Hours: 19.5 hours per week
Duration: 12mth fixed term contract
Location: Aftercare Services, Dolphins Barn.
