Access and Inclusion model (AIM) Support Worker – Dolphin Creche

Dolphin Creche
is a high – quality, part-time community creche. Dolphin Creche opens 48 weeks a year from 9.00-1.00 daily. We are currently recruiting for the position of Access and Inclusion model (AIM) Support Worker to work with 2 children with additional needs. The hours will be 9.00-12.00 /1.00 daily and term time only (38 weeks annually).

We are looking
for a professional staff member who enjoys working with young children. You would be responsible for planning activities incorporating Aistear, ensuring safety of all children in the service, serving food, interacting with children and their families, working independently as well as with a team, and creating an enriching, fun, and safe environment for all individual children. You will be required to meet the AIM specialist in partnership with the parents and childcare manager and be required to fill out IEP’s for children. The candidate must have a positive attitude and serve as a good role model to children.

Essential Requirements:
A minimum qualification of QQI / FETAC level 5 all modules completed.
2 years’ experience in an early year’s setting post qualification.
Children’s first e-learning online training.

Desirable requirements:
FETAC Level 6 in Childcare completed
LINC training completed.
First aid certified and in date.
HACCP training.
Experience working with children with additional needs
1- year experience working in mixed aged ratio of children in a creche environment.
