Job Purpose:
Muscular Dystrophy Ireland (MDI) is a national voluntary organisation that offers a range of support services to persons affected by neuromuscular conditions and their families. MDI are recruiting Personal Assistants nationwide for activities as follows –

number of week-long camps,
day youth clubs,
support family breaks
personal assistant services.

MDI are seeking interested people nationally that may be interested in getting involved with these activities. The holder of these positions will find it very satisfying and rewarding. Personal Assistants gain valuable experience interacting with members with muscular dystrophy while working in a relaxed and casual/social environment. Individuals who work with MDI also complete invaluable training such as Child First Policies, First Aid, Manual Handling, Disability Awareness, and Personal Care Skills.
