Area Manager – Leinster – Comfort Homecare – Co. Kildare

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Home Care Area Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business and ensuring that all services are delivered to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, including scheduling, staffing, and service delivery.
Be responsible for growing the business across each region to target geographic areas of high demand and ensure service delivery is in line with budget expectations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that all services are delivered to the highest standard.
Monitor and analyse service delivery data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
Manage and develop a team of staff, providing coaching, support, and training as required in conjunction with HR department.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies particularly the Health Service Executive.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
Prepare reports and present data to senior management on a regular basis.
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Ensure on call service available out of hours and weekends in conjunction with Supervisor schedules.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role in the Home Care sector in Ireland and at least 4 years total experience within the Home Care sector.
Must be able to successfully undergo Garda Vetting procedure and supply 2 written professional references of a satisfactory nature.
Must hold at a minimum QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or equivalent and QQI Level 6 Supervisory Management.
Must hold a full driving licence and have use of own car during working hours.
Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of managing teams to deliver high-quality services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
Desirable: Diploma, Certificate, Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field. Previous experience with Nurse Buddy platform.
